The Pilgrims have landed! |
“Grandpa will take Bailey hunting in the
country to get a turkey. She will shoot
it with her bow. Grandpa will pull out
the feathers and then he will clean it off with water. It will go in a pan and Mom will put salt and
pepper on it. She will put it in the
oven at 3 degrees for 16 minutes.
We will eat it with bread, grapes, hot dogs
and apples. For dessert we will have
vanilla ice cream!”

“My mom will buy the turkey at Krull’s
Market. It will weigh 100 pounds and it
will cost $20.00. She will take the
wrapper off and clean it in the sink with water and then put it in a pan. She will pour juice on it. She will sprinkle seasoning on it and she
will put some apples on the top of it.
She will put it in a 30 degree oven for 10 minutes.
We will eat it with meatballs, apples, peanut
butter, and grapes. For dessert we would
have chocolate cake and an ice cream dessert with cookie sprinkles.”

pounds. She will take it out of the
wrapper and cut it into pieces. She will
put the bones in a bowl. She will put
meat sauce, dressing, ranch and salsa on top of it. She will put some meatballs and some salt
sprinkles on it too. She will bake it
for 65 hours. We will eat it with lettuce, tomatoes,
dressing, and pizza. For dessert we will
have orange Push-ups!”

cream. For dessert, we will eat

“We will get our turkey from Alaska because
some turkeys live there. Daddy tears all
of the meat off and then he puts it in a pan.
My grandpa puts hot pepper sauce on it.
Then grandma puts on some salt and cheese. Then it goes in the oven that is 80 degrees
and it cooks for an hour.
We would eat it with potatoes and gravy. We will also have corn, pheasant, deer, and
fruits. For dessert we will have pizza!”

Thanksgiving!
Oh my goodness, kids, you've given me some wonderful ideas on how to fix our turkey!! I LOVE all the sprinkles you're using! I'll try to remember that. I hope you all have a fun break from school, and you come back, ready to learn lots more things with Mrs. Preheim! Happy Thanksgiving! We have SO many things to be thankful for!
